The hostesses of DISCOVERY TOYS or DISCOVERY QUEST workshops earned FREE books. Discovery Toys offered free Time Life books to hostesses that achieved $250 or more in sales during one home show. This promotion helped increase sales volume during the months of April and May of 1998.

HEALTHTEX

To increase the average sale during the 1999 holiday season, Healthtex gave the customer a choice of Santa's Workshop Mini House Book or Noah's Ark Mini House Book with any purchase of $25 or more of Healthtex clothing at Macy's department stores.

To increase the average sale during Spring 2000, Healthtex gave the customer a choice of The Three Pigs Garage Mini House Book or The Enchanged Castle Mini House Book with any purchase of $25 or more of Healthtex clothing at Elder-Beerman.

Picture Me Under the Christmas Tree was used to promote on-line sales on the Healthtex web site during Holiday 2000. The book was free with any on-line purchase of $25 or more of Healthtex clothing at Elder-Beerman.

To promote the 2002 launch of the Nursery Rhyme clothing collection by Healthtex, they are offering Animal Crackers with any purchase of $25 or more.


THE LEARNING COMPANY
The Reader Rabbit software was promoted by the Learning Company for toddlers and preschool children. A mini Picture Me In the Circus book was in-packed into the software packages. This promotion encouraged reading and gave parents an additional incentive to buy LEARNING COMPANY software. This promotion was implemented with Incentive Innovations promotion company.

LIZ CLAIBORNE
Looking to increase sales after the 2001 holidays, Liz Claiborne turns to Office Yoga. This promotion helped increase the average unit sale each consumer spent in Liz Claiborne stores in the Spring of 2002.
